Social Media Marketing
Tip 1
Research your target audience and pick the social media platform that you’d find them on most and start there. There’s a misconception that you need to be on all these different platforms. Really, you don’t. Focus on one. Managing one is no small feat.
Tip 2
My general recommendation if you’re a small local business with a brick and mortar is to consider Google My Business as your social media platform. You’re focusing on local SEO. You can update your profile easily, work on building trust with your awesome reviews. This all helps you in your rankings. Network and create a presence.

Tip 3
Us a social media calendar and track what you’re posting and the traffic. Research with Google Trends and see what’s popping in your industry. It doesn’t have to be directly related. If you do some research and find a good idea to blog about, that’s great! Do it. Here’s a social media calendar by Hubspot (it does require an email to download). It’s free.
